Welcome to Marigold Academy.

I created Marigold Academy from a desire to cultivate a more thoughtful, faith-filled approach to education, family life, and formation in an increasingly distracted and fragmented culture.

As a homeschooling parent, mental health professional, Army veteran, and lifelong learner, I found myself searching for resources that reflected both intellectual seriousness and meaningful presence: a vision of education rooted not only in academic achievement, but in wisdom, character, attention, and faith.

Too often, modern parenting and education feels hurried, performative, and overwhelmed by noise. Marigold Academy was created as a quieter alternative — a place to explore Catholic tradition, classical education, living books, intentional family culture, and the work of raising thoughtful children in a technologically saturated world.

I believe families do not need perfection, endless productivity, or curated online lives to create rich educational environments. They need clarity, steadiness, meaningful rhythms, and the freedom to cultivate lives ordered toward truth, beauty, goodness, and genuine human connection.

Through writing, homeschool consulting, curriculum guidance, and future educational resources, my hope is to support families seeking a more grounded and intentional way forward.
